1. Definitions
- “Kennel”: Laizhou Hong Brazil, responsible for breeding and selling the dogs
- “Applicant”: individual who fills out the application form
- “Screening”: the process of evaluating the applicant's profile
- “Reservation”: formal commitment to purchase after screening approval
2. Screening Process
2.1. Nature of Screening
Screening is a selective process designed to evaluate the compatibility between the applicant's profile and the needs of our dogs. The screening considers:
- Previous experience with large or guard-type dogs
- Available physical structure (housing, space)
- Availability of time for care and training
- Family composition and lifestyle
- Goals and expectations regarding the dog
2.2. Kennel's Discretion
The Kennel reserves the right to approve or decline any application at its sole discretion, without the need for a detailed justification. The Kennel's decision is final and is not subject to appeal.
2.3. No Guarantee of Availability
Approval in the screening process does not guarantee the availability of any specific dog. Dogs may be reserved by other approved applicants before you, or may become unavailable for internal reasons.
3. Reservation and Payment
3.1. Reservation Deposit
After screening approval and mutual confirmation of interest, the applicant may formalize the reservation through a deposit, the amount and terms of which will be communicated at the time of approval.
3.2. Non-Refundable
The reservation deposit is non-refundable in the event of withdrawal by the applicant. In exceptional cases, at the Kennel's sole discretion, the amount may be converted into credit for a future acquisition.
3.3. Refund by the Kennel
If the Kennel is unable to deliver the reserved dog (due to health reasons, a decision not to sell, or other reasons), the deposit will be fully refunded or, by mutual agreement, applied toward another dog.
4. Pricing and Commercial Terms
4.1. Starting Price
The prices displayed on the website are starting prices and represent the baseline for negotiation. The final price may vary depending on the dog's specific characteristics, training level and agreed-upon terms.
4.2. Payment Methods
We do not conduct financial transactions through the website. Payments are arranged directly after screening approval, through secure and documented means.
4.3. What Is Included
The agreed price includes:
- Dog vaccinated and dewormed per protocol
- Microchip implanted and registered
- CKU pedigree (when applicable)
- Completed health exams
- Purchase agreement
- Post-sale support for 90 days
5. Animal Delivery
5.1. Delivery Conditions
Delivery is made only after all contractual conditions have been met, including full payment or as agreed. The location and method of delivery will be arranged between the parties.
5.2. Delivery Postponement
The Kennel may postpone delivery if it identifies a need for additional time for socialization, health treatment or any other reason that benefits the animal's well-being. In such cases, the applicant will be notified and may choose to wait or cancel with a proportional refund.
6. Owner's Commitments
By acquiring a dog from Laizhou Hong Brazil, the owner commits to:
- Providing adequate, high-quality nutrition
- Maintaining regular veterinary care
- Providing appropriate physical and mental exercise
- Not abandoning, mistreating or neglecting the animal
- Notifying the Kennel if unable to keep the dog
- Not transferring the dog to third parties without prior notice to the Kennel
7. Right of First Refusal
If the owner can no longer keep the dog, the Kennel has the right of first refusal for repurchase. The repurchase price will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis, considering the animal's age, health and condition.
8. Guarantees and Limitations
8.1. Health
We guarantee that the dog is delivered in good health, as attested by a veterinarian at the time of delivery. Health issues that arise after delivery will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
8.2. Temperament
The dog's temperament may evolve depending on management, training and environment. The Kennel is not responsible for behavioral changes resulting from improper handling by the owner.
8.3. Breeding
Terms regarding breeding rights, if applicable, will be established in a separate contract.
9. Website Use
9.1. Information
Information on the website is provided in good faith and may be updated without prior notice. Data about dogs (availability, price, characteristics) is informational and subject to change.
9.2. Intellectual Property
All website content (texts, images, logos) is the property of Laizhou Hong Brazil and may not be reproduced without authorization.
10. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. Any disputes will preferably be resolved through mediation and, if that is not possible, by the court of the Kennel's domicile.
